Sweden Climate Index is an open, independent index of Sweden's climate ecosystem. It exists to make climate innovation visible — to journalists, researchers, students, policymakers, and anyone curious about where Sweden's sustainable future is being built.
The directory includes companies, organisations, and projects working on climate solutions across eight sectors: energy, mobility, food and agriculture, built environment, carbon and nature, circular economy, water, and industry. We focus on Sweden-based operations. Company stage ranges from early-stage seed to publicly listed.
Company information is compiled from public sources including company websites, Swedish business registries, press coverage, and industry reports. Geographic coordinates represent company headquarters or primary operating location in Sweden. Sector classification reflects primary business activity. Data is reviewed periodically and updated when corrections or new information become available.
This is not an investment database, a commercial ranking, or an endorsement of any company or organisation listed. We do not verify commercial claims, sustainability metrics, or financial performance. The directory is a tool for exploration and orientation, not a basis for investment, procurement, or policy decisions.
Sweden Climate Index is an independent project with no commercial affiliation to any listed organisation. It is maintained as open public infrastructure — free to access, free to reference.
